We are proud of the work done by Troup CASA in our community. We sincerely feel that CASA is the most important program the community can become involved in for children who have found themselves in foster care.

CASA of Troup County, Inc. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a non-profit organization that closely monitors children who are experiencing the Juvenile Court system due to their parents/caregivers not properly providing a safe and stable home environment for them.

Troup CASA makes a difference in the lives of children in our community:

• The local CASA recruits, screens, trains and supervises community volunteers.

• CASA volunteers are appointed by Judge R. Michael Key to advocate solely for the best interests of the child throughout their entire time of involvement within the court system.

• Twenty-five volunteers are currently advocating for 72 children in Troup County who have found themselves in the midst of the court system through no fault of their own.

We are currently in the process of our annual fundraising campaign.  We need your help to put a qualified, compassionate adult volunteer into the life of a child to fight for and protect the child’s right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect, and to learn and grow in a loving family.

We are hoping that you will consider being a contributor to our campaign as a concerned member of our community.  A donation in any amount is appreciated.  Donations may also be given in “honor of,” or in “memory of” someone.  All contributions are tax deductible.

YOU Can Light the Path of Hope for a Child!
