Did you know that in GA.....

Every day,  33  children are the victims of confirmed abuse or neglect.

200 incidents of child abuse and neglect are reported daily.

113 children died from abuse and neglect in 2015.

On any given day, about 12,700 children are in the foster care system.

19,772 children came through the foster care system during state fiscal year 2017.

Our Mission:

CASA of Troup and Heard Counties advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the court system. Our belief is that every child is entitled to a safe, stable and permanent home. We provide screened, trained, and supervised volunteers who speak for the needs of these children, one child at a time. CASA works in collaboration with key agencies, a guardian ad litem and community resources to achieve the child's best interests.

CASA ensures that deprived children have a choice in court.

Help us provide a suitcase for every child in foster care so that they have a way to carry their belongings. Click here for more info.
